God is good

We had a very fun cg outing last week.. played the chinese version of Shi2 zi4 lu4 kou3. haha... if you dunno what i am talking about, well, basically its like the Jacky wu's variety show, where teams have to go around to eat food items, connecting the last word until they reach the final destination.

It is really one of the big scale cg outings that we ever had for a long long time. Thank God for the good weather, spontaneous response from the friends and members and guess everyone really had a great time. Of course, in every game, there can only be one winner. But i feel, everyone is a winner that day... cos everyone who participated really sweat it out.. haha... know why i say that? Cos my team had 4 guys and 2 gals, including me. At the third dish, the other gal got to go.. so, left me loh.. and we literally ran around chinatown trying to find our connecting dishes... haha... was indeed tiring, but my team also had a lot of fun. By the time we were on the train, heading towards Expo - our final destination, all the 5 of us, sweaty but chatting happily away. Before we knew it, we are already at expo station. My team dashed out to the 7-eleven, bought the fruit juice and drank it, and then...............sprinted all the way to the ROcky Master!!!!! Phew!!! long way man... thank God for sustaining me.. haha... nearly ran out of breathe. In the end, we came in second.. haha.. not that bad after all huh.... :p

I am still trying to collate the pictures.. so maybe in my next updates, u will see the pics liaoz.. hehe...

Mind-blowing sessions with Rev DR AR Bernard

Last weekend, we have a powerful, explosive, mind-blowing session with Rev DR AR Bernard..He is really one of the most knowledgeable, wisest teacher that I have ever heard. The last time DR AR Bernard came was 4 years ago.. haha.. really like the olympic games.. once in 4 years. But then, this time round, really can feel the dynamic power that is released into the atmosphere at every session. Every session is a mind-blowing session, and as I sat at my seat listening to him, my mind is turning a thousand times and in so many different directions. Trying to store what is taught, and trying to think of what I can do, and etc etc etc...

Throughtout the 3 sessions, my pen just kept writing & writing, trying to capture down as many things as possible.. When i look at my paper at the end of the day, ha... so messy.... really must go back and re-organise the notes and refresh the things that have been taught in the last 3 days. But the thing is, there are so many things to learn and absorb. Given the limitation of our human brain, how much can we register just by listening once? A good message should be listened to more than once, so that we really ponder hard and reflect upon the words that have been spoken.
Thank You DR AR Bernard, we really love you, and really really really hope you will come back next year....

Anyway, yesterday i missed the prayer meeting again.. haiz.... my tuition kid got no other days that he can reschedule the tuition, and he is really lagging behind. So no choice... haiz... anyway, really cannot stand my tuition kid really. He is a secondary 1 boy at Bukit Merah Secondary School. But hor, wah man!!!! Dunno what to say... slightest thing that u say that he thinks that u are raising your voice or reprimanding him, his tears will just roll down so naturally leh!!! *Roll eyes and Faint* and yesterday, he almost like cry for 1 hour out of the 2 hours of tuition! Oh My God!!!!!! God save me!

I must really think of more creative ways to try to help him out of this man!! More wisdom, more grace!
