Finding your purpose

Everything in Life has a purpose and our existence is definitely not by chance.

This statement I must say, I have heard it umpteen times, ever since my schooldays in SAJC. ha.. but man, when Pastor Kong preach about this again last week, I could almost felt a total new revelation that God showed me.

Many people think that whatever that they go through in life are pre-destined, and many just feel that they are just part of the life cycle, going through the motion of life. Thats why we see so many people waste their lives away everyday, doing mundane things and just satisfied when they have a little bit of success.

But no, God has a purpose for everyone of us, even before we were born. Just as what the bible says, even before we were formed in our mothers' womb, God has already planned us in his mind. Wow, isnt that wonderful news to hear? So many people are always searching for what they should do in lives. But the fact is that if they are focused on God, then God will show them their prupose in their life.

To live life to the fullest, we must MAXIMISE the talents and gifts that God places in us. If we do not know what are they, then we are likely to start to abuse our purpose. I like how Pastor Kong defines abuse. Abuse = Abnormal Use. Yes, its is so true. Many of us, including myself at times, will abuse our gifts and talents by not maximising and flagging them to the fullest potential. So many of us are guilty of that, including myself..haha.. better start to change my mindset and start to use the gifts and talents that God has given me, so that I can fulfill my purpose and extract the anointing from God that comes with Maximum success... wowowowowowoowwow....

yesh, so excited that the Arise and Build 2005 is coming in 13 days time. I am still praying and asking God how much to give. Unequal amounts, equal sacrifice... yesh... and I believe that as I give, God will give me even more, so that I can glorify Him in my giving. I am so excited that I can participate in this arise and build. This is my fourth arise and build. I believe as God has enabled me to fulfill my pledge in 2000, 2001 and 2002, God will do it again for me. I am trusting God to fulfill whatever amount that He is going to tell me, and more than that, I will see rivers of blessings flowing into my lives. 13 more days...yeah yeah..get ready and set off..

okie.. going to prepare myself for CG later lioaz.. told xuan to come earlier today, so that we can pray together. really feel that this period of time, the spiritual warfare is so strong, and all things really work only through prayer and fasting. I wan to continue to hold strong to my faith and God is the God of yesterday, today and forever!
