A tiring week....

Phew! Been a really tiring week at work man!

Anyway, just want to share a mini revelation today..:-)

Just had my appraisal with my manager today. Throughout the whole session, it was really more like a chit chat session man...ha..this is the first time in 6 months ever since I joined the company, that I had such an opportunity to talk to my manager in such a casual manner..cos he hardly talks to the assistants...anyway, to cut the long story short, after the whole conversation, I had much peace. I had been so worried for the past few days for the session, thinking what he would say about me. However, in the end, he only discussed with me abt my days in EY for the past 6 months, and telling me the areas i can improve on and his expectations of me if i get promoted this coming july. Whew!

After the conversation, I realise one thing............... I ve worried and anxious for nothing! aiyoyo....i really too gan cheong man...should ve relax more..haha..anyway, I suddenly remember this verse from the bible : His thoughts are not our thoughts, and His ways are higher than our ways. I kept thinking negatively before the appraisal, worrying what will happen. But should ve more faith lar...Really a lesson learnt...Sorry God...:-) Indeed God is so good.. I believe He already had something great installed for me, just like a present there, waiting for me to go and open it. Hallelujah! God is Good!

Anyway, I believe everything ended on a good note. Now I will just keep praying and believing for my promotion. Cos I believe that promotion comes from God.
